Default DPX5 Balanced printer margins and printer settings

1.) In DPX4 a quick click in Page Setup balanced the margins acquired from the printer.
My printer produces three different minimum margin widths: at top, bottom and sides. I have found no similar quick click to balance them in DPX5. Do I have to do this manually?

2.) In the Print dialogue in Print Preview how do I interpret Best Quality and Simplified Output?

In Help I have found
Quote:
(Optional) On rare occasions, printed output may display unwanted artefacts or missing objects, typically due to printer driver problems. From the Work around printer problems drop-down list, you can resolve this by selecting Simplified Output, or Send as Bitmap (to rasterize the entire page).
Rasterize entire page I understand, and is what I normally do to avoid missing objects. But what does Simplified Output actually do?

I can find nothing to explain Best Quality in this context.
Help isn't being very helpful, I have tried to find answers.

Thanks all, thanks for reading. Any explanations gratefully received

Hi Annie,

Does the attached show what you were looking for?

Edit: Probably not. I see that you want to balance the margins rather than merely querying the printer.

I've no idea what the answer to your second question might be.

Alfred

'evening Alfred

I've just found you.

If I leave this query hanging - the Simplified Output and Best Quality bit, maybe someone will explain.
On the other hand, maybe not

Annie

oh, and it appears I will have to balance margins manually. Humph!
