PagePlus X3: Extracting

I'm not sure if this is a Page Plus question or a Photo Plus question but here is my situation.

I am creating an ad for a business that has an established text logo (like IBM or such). I don't have the typeface to match what they have used. Is there any way to cleanly extract their text logo from a previously created piece so that there is a clear background? Or if someone has any other alternative to pick up the logo I would sure welcome it. Thanks for your help. Ken

Run it through the CutOut Studio and see what you get.

If its only three Sans Serif letters then you could probably get a better result by manually tracing the outlines with the pen tool. DrawPlus would do that automatically. Cutout Studio in PPX3 might also do a good enough job, depending on the resolution of the Logo that you have. If you want to attach the logo, I expect someone will do it for you in DrawPlus.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used the CutOut Studio and it was long and tedious because the logo is semi script, eight letters but it worked. Thanks again.
