Sorry, I'm feeling really stupid today (I do this all the time but have temporarily forgotton how to), but how to I change the file extension in windows explorer (from sdb to csv)

OK

Go to Windows Explorer

Find the sdb file in the folder you chose.

Select the *.sdb file and right click > COPY

Paste the file into the same folder

select the pasted file (it says Copy of)

right click > RENAME

change the sdb to csv

Now you are ready to open the csv version of the sdb in a spreadsheet. I use OpenOffice, but MS Excel works too as well as Lotus 123.

It's not working today - having lots of problems with pc... perhaps its that. Or maybe its Vista...
Anyway I know I can upload it to web server, change and download (seems very long, but it works!), so I'll do that and carry on with the instructions...

No it's fine, I've converted it anyway now... upgrading to 7 soon (I hope) so that might work (unless its me; maybe I should upgrade myself!)

I somehow lost my csv file so thanks for sending that one; I am using it! Maybe I should go to bed and try this stuff in the 'moro...
