Exclamation Will it read MP4?

Quick question, I bought WebPlus x4 and loved it. So I came back to Serif for a product to create movies. The only problem is I have HD quality videos in MP4 format.

Will MoviePlus x5 recognize that? I heard x3 had some problems with it. And converting them before hand isn't really an option, it distorts it and the quality is cut it half. (It's my wedding video so I need to to be good)
Thanks, look forward to your response.

If it will understand MP4, I'm sold and will download it today, I just don't want to be disappointed.

Because there are so many different flavours, it is hard to be 100% certain without trying your files on your PC.

But, MvPx5 does handle HD files better than MvPx3, and MvPx3 on my PC had no problem with my MPEG-4 video files.

Thumbs up Re: Will it read MP4?

Thank you

I actually bought the product and love it so far.
I have the files in MP4 that were recorded in HD. The proxy file feature is really nice, I haven't burned anything or saved anything as a movie file yet, but as long as the transition from proxy back to HD goes well I will be a happy camper. Will know in a few days when I finish my project.
Thanks!

oldmixon175,
The proxy files are only for preview during the editing process to lighten the load on the PC. The export process uses the source files.
