Default Bamboo One on DSA

Hi guys,
am I right on assuming the Bamboo one will work with DSA as well as DrawPlus?
they only mention Draw Plus in the ad, but if I can draw with the mouse, I think I m right on assuming it will work with DSA2 as well?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it will work, just like a regular mouse. In DrawPlus, there are extra features that take advantage of things in the tablet such as pressure. DSA does not do this.

Wherever you hover your pen over the screen the cursor will follow. The benefit of having the pen is you can do very detailed things on screen that sometimes the mouse cannot do.

Also, you might consider getting the newer Bamboo Pen. I think it's just a bit smaller but it has more features. It also is cheaper and will probably be supported by Wacom longer than the Bamboo One.

Also it is good to note that the special features (such as pressure) on ANY tablet will not work correctly when run with Parallels Desktop.

thanks
Serif sent us an offer for £29.99, which is £20 less.
I have already a Volito 2 by Wacom I bought a few years ago, it works well but sarita wants one for herself...so when I saw the Serif offer..I thought its better for her to ask for a tablet than for a handbag or some clothes (which she has so much we are overloaded LOL)

I got the Volito out today to see if it worked well as she wanted to use it, but for so long we had not used it, we need to practice a lot!

Hi, DSA does support pressure just the same as DrawPlus. The only thing it doesn't have is the new Pressure Studio that was in DrawPlus X4.
If you want to tweak pressure profiles you can use the pressure tab. By default the pressure tab isn't shown in the studio, but you can easily turn it on by going to View | Studio Tabs | Pressure Tab.

Cheers,

thanks Mark
I thought the price Serif gave us for the Bamboo was quiet good, my Wacom is getting old and my daughter also is having a go on DSA (she is doing Arts GCSE's & an extra GCSE on Twilight Photography, she is falling in love with DSA2 as much as I am!)
so first is the tablet, when we get the PC for Xmas we may get her her own DSA..., I m still gonna call Brian(Webmasternapa) to help me install...you guys should pay him (well, Serif LOL) he has taken valuable time to help me...I can't thank him enough....
