PhotoPlus X4: After using PhotoFix unable to use Retouching Tools

I have only recently received PPX4 and have discovered that if I use the new PhotoFix Studio to adjust lighting or simply to crop the image, then try to use retouching tools, for example Makeover Studio to whiten teeth I am unable to?

A bug or failure to RTFM?

Using PhotoFix converts your layer to a Filter Layer. There are certain operations that can't be applied to a Filter Layer because it isn't a standard raster (bitmap) layer any more.

After duplicating your layer to use the Makeover Studio on it, right-click the copy and choose Rasterize. You will now be able to proceed as usual with your Makeover Studio steps.
