Dear All.
Serif (Europe) Ltd. is announcing the release of an update for the English Language DrawPlus X4 (build number
11.0.2.022).
The main purpose of the update is to resolve a specific issue introduced in the release of DrawPlus X4 11.0.1, for which we apologise. A list of the changes/fixes is provided below. It also includes all issues fixed in the
previous update
- Fix for StateObject change causing old docs to fail to load and also creation of object to crash.
- Fix for deleting last cell from colour palette accessing invalid index and causing crash.
- Filter Effects > Drop Shadow angles are inconsistently reported.
- Fixed a number of areas that could have caused text to become unstable, particularly relating to animation
- The Text tool now does not allow you to move nodes in keyframe run.
- Slide run forwards/backwards should not be available in KFA mode when the selection is not part of a run!
We would recommend that ALL users of DrawPlus X4 English download and install this update. Serif recommend that this should be done
within the program, by using the "Check for update from web" option in the Help Menu. This will always get any available update for your version of Serif software (CD or download) and install it too. The downloads page
www.serif.com/downloads.asp has the file also, which is 4.8 MB.
To work out if you need this update choose "About DrawPlus" in the help menu and if the version number is
11.0.1.021 (or less) and you are running the
English version then you need this file. Helpfully the software checks for updates the first time it runs, so for those yet to install a CD, the latest update will be found on first use if needed.
