PhotoPlus X4 is Launched!

We’re delighted to announce the launch of PhotoPlus X4, the latest version of the award-winning photo editing software from Serif. Described as ‘Powerful Digital Photo Editing Made Easy’, PhotoPlus X4 can help photographers achieve better results from their photos, learn new editing techniques and be more productive than ever before. From quick fixes to professional-levels tools and features, PhotoPlus X4 can turn good shots into photos to be proud of, no matter level of previous editing experience.

Changes to PhotoPlus in this impressive new version include but are not limited to the following:

More Powerful Tools:

• PhotoFix replaces the QuickFix Studio in previous versions of PhotoPlus and has the power to make applying common edits to your photos faster than ever before. If you’re short of time, use PhotoFix to straighten and crop photos, fix red-eye and remove blemishes – all these options are now more easily accessible. Plus, unlike QuickFix, you can now edit using curves and apply adjustments to a specific area of a photo using a masking brush.
  
• Photo Adjustments are now even more accessible and easier to apply thanks to PhotoPlus X4’s Adjustment Tab. Adjust levels, colour balance, saturation and more. All adjustments are non-destructive so don’t overwrite your original image and can be fine-tuned or removed at any time.
  
• The Filter Gallery has been improved, with better support for 16 bit per channel images. Instant Artist effects such as watercolour and pencil are now accessible from the Filter Gallery too.
  
• Filter Layer Improvements means you can now create filter groups with optional filter masking. Apply blend modes and opacity filter-by-filter.
  
• The Image Cutout Studio makes it quick and easy to make accurate image cutouts. Replacing the Extract tool in previous versions of PhotoPlus, the Image Cutout Studio gives you a brush to select areas of an image to preserve or discard. Plus, there’s an easy-to-use touch-up tool to refine edges.
  
• PhotoPlus X4’s Pixel Grid helps you create pixel-perfect graphics. Simply zoom in on an image and a Pixel Grid is displayed, acting as a guide when precise, high-detail edits are required.
  
• With the Pressure Studio calibrate the sensitivity of a graphics tablet within PhotoPlus X4 for a more natural editing experience when using brushes.

Improved Photo Management:

• AlbumPlus Organiser is a new and improved version of AlbumPlus SE Pro. With this incredible program, you’ll enjoy all the features and benefits of AlbumPlus SE Pro, like being able to manually tag and rate your images, plus extras including:
  
• PhotoMap,a new and exciting way re-visit memories of trips and holidays. This Google™ powered map of the world has a marker to display where each of your photos was taken. If your camera supports geo-tagging then your images will be automatically displayed on the map but they can also be drag and dropped manually too. Have fun showing friends and family how well travelled you are!
  
• Online Sharing option to upload your photos to Facebook® and Flickr® directly from AlbumPlus Organiser.

• PhotoPlus X4 has a New User Interface , boasting a contemporary look with larger icons and multiple colour schemes.
