File > Print > Prepress > Crop Marks.

Your paper has to be bigger than your design!

New publication
Page setup > Small publication
Create Custom
Set size (8.5 x 5.5 cm for example)
Gaps X and Y set to 0 (zero)
Layout 2 across and 5 down
File . Layout Guides. Set to suit (1cm or less will do nicely)

Lay out your card. It will replicate 10 times on the A4 sheet. Check with the Print Preview button.

You can set your paper cutting according to your card design otherwise it looks cheap. A good card design matters a lot.

To make it easier to customize a publication to a particular manufacturer's product or print multiple copies of a publication on a single sheet of paper when printing turn the crop marks on. You can turn the crop marks of when you connect your publication on paper.

Hi Paul!

For smooth cutting of your business cards you have to put cutting marks in your designs. When cutting with paper cutter make sure that you are not cutting edge to edge of the sheet only cut mark to mark. I have attached an image to show how it works.
