Default Query on MPX3

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of creating a video to promote my upcoming young adult fantasy novel (www.thezargothiantales.com) and I was going to use Windows Movie Maker but found it a bit basic. Now, I must admit that I'm a complete novice so I don't want to use something taxing on the mind either. Here are my questions.
1. Would MoviePlusX3 allow me to create a good video that I could upload onto Youtube?
2. I would have JPEGS to put into the video so would it allow me to do this?
3. I read somewhere that MoviePlus X3 provides some of its own music for people to use. Is this true?

Thanks for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you.

1. Yes, MvPx3 can export in formats suitable for Youtube. It has some preset templates for export to Youtube; you can easily modify these or create your own.

2. Yes, you can easily mix still images and video in the same movie.

3. Yes & no: Serif does offer extra DVDs containing music, sound-effects and video clips. Serif also does (or did?) offer an extra program which could provide auto-music. Like many of these types of programs, it was quite expensive.

Some websites offer music for a single payment.

Thanks Richard S for your response. You've been a great help. I know of certain sites that offer royalty free music to put in videos but I'll have to wait and see if I'll purchase MPX3 or not.

One of the most common utilities to come with video programmes to create sound is smartsound. last time I looked smartsound basic version is being given away with any cd, each cd is themed but you can create many sounds styles with it, again last time I looked some of the low price cd's were available for $25. The beauty of using smart sound is that you can define a n actual music length and it creates one to that length but also sounds right the intro sounds like an intro and the wind down, exit sounds like one

You can create really good quality vids for YouTube, I use the WMV file format HDV 720-25PAL widescreen for the WebPlus tutorial i do, see link below..
