Angry Runtime Errors and Gallery Errors

Hi,
I'm having more problems with Webplus again.
This time, every time I load a site, I'm getting a Visual Basic Runtime Error "Abnormal Termination".
Also, the flash galleries have decided they don't want to work either. When I try create a new gallery, the images will not load and Webplus just hangs.
I only started having problems after installing the latest patch. Gave me loads of trouble so I got rid of the patch and went back to the old one. Even than, I had to re-install Webplus.
Any help, as always is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Nic.

Nic,

Have you tried holding down the Control key while opening WebPlus? This will reset your user settings (anything you customized in WebPlus) but also tends to cure a lot of issues.

Yep, tried that. That usually works, but this time it hasn't.

...and this happens with every site?

What I would suggest doing is running a complete uninstall of WebPlus with Revo Uninstaller on the Advanced mode. Make sure to remove all leftover files and registry entries. Then run CCleaner to remove everything that Revo Uninstaller missed (run the Cleaner and Registry options). Then install WebPlus again. Check to see if your site loads before you install the latest patch. If it does, install the patch and see if your site loads.

Nic

Be very careful with Advanced Mode as it is easy to make a mess of the registry. The nice thing about Revouninstaller is that it does make a restore point for you so that should things go bad, you can use system restore to that earlier time and try again.

Depending on the situation, I will sometimes also run Eusing reg cleaner.
