I realise some of us do this just for comfort but I'm going to ask anyway. Would you mind looking at this and tell me what you think? Ignore the links to the wine lists and menus as they still go to the current pages and I haven't updated them yet.

Under Mitchells, "wine bar and brasserie" have some slippage in the letters.

On the "Where we are" page, not sure what that email widget is, but it doesn't look like it has rendered correctly.

In both cases I converted the words and the email into images, the email because of spam bots and the words because theyoriginally weren't a safe font but I think I can change that now because I'm using verdana.

Just a trivial thing - I'd pick a different colour text for the "Wine of the Month"; the orange doesn't go well with the burgundy colour.

Tony, you can take comfort in your work. Lovely and professional site. I appreciate that you compiled the information in a way that requires a minimum of scrolling (menus excepted-but there's a lot to choose from).

Nice looking site.

Apart from changing the orange text colour is to put a margin at the top & Bottom of your page just to give it a bit of room. You would not need much - 10pix or so.

Have a look at this thread to see how to achieve this very quickly.

I think it's absolutely lovely! The only thing I question is the repetition of the word "fotolio" on the calendar displayed on your Events page. And the Where We Are map never loaded for me, but sometimes that happens on Explorer, so it's probably just me.

Oh, yes, please do change the orange text, it's out of place in the site. Perhaps a restful shade of green or blue to pick up one of the colors in the photo.

Again, though, a professional-looking, well-done site

Hi Tony,

Good looking site as already said.

My Critique would be that you need to Specify HTML Title in the Page Properties>Navigation Tab. Rather than using the Default "Home" use "Welcome to Mitchells wine bar and brasserie website". For "Menus" use "Mitchells wine bar and brasserie menus" and the same type of thing for the other pages.

Just one question, is the company called Mitchells without an apostrophe?

As far as the orange test is concerned that's OK. That part of the page is an iframe with an http link to the internet page that the owner of the restaraunt edits himself (bit like a CMS system) and so at the moment it points to the existing site page. Once I've finished the main site I will change all the iframe pages (eg wine lists)to the new colours for him.

Thanks Dond for the comment about the margin, good idea I'll do that.

The fotolia reference on the diary page is because I copied from the fotolia site just to check that it fitted in with the rest of the site. I'll now buy the image so they'll disappear.
