Default nav bars that change position in web preview

Hello All
can anyone tell me why my nav bars a perfectly lined up on my construction page, this is then exactly replicated in the website preview window, but when i then preview my site in internet explorer the nav bars have all changed their position and size.however all the rest of my web content remains in the same position as per my construct site.

Please help,

thank you

Perhaps the navbars are trying to be helpful by expanding to fit your actual nav text?

All the more reason for you to give us a link to your site or test site so that we can see what's happening. It's going to be impossible to diagnose otherwise.
