I created a retirement card for my daughter to give to someone. It's based on the "Swirling memories" scrap theme (as you will see from the back page). The card making facility is good, except the front page part has a tendency to over-run the centre line and flow over onto the back page by a little - but I just made the front page items a bit smaller, to allow for the crease down the centre. I ruined the first one I did, by cutting too close to the edge and chopping off the "t" of retirement! So I used the ruined one to cut out some of the embellishments. I was going to stick them on the card to make a 3-d effect but then I thought (a) it'll be OTT and (b) what if I ruin it again? I had cut it, glued the inside and outside together (I didn't have double-sided photo paper) and stuck a feathery fringe of green hand-made paper around 3 sides, so i definitely didn't want to have to do it again! I had to hand make an envelope to fit the card, so I used the cut-outs to decorate the back flap!
When I exported the card as a gif, the dreaded purple gif bug appeared for the first page but not the other two, so I re-exported it as a jpg, which tripled its size. PNG was not an option.
