Does Serif still have a developer?

It's ages since Jon or anyone else from the development team contributed to the forum. I'm wondering if he's left the company. If so, is it the end of the line for MvP?

Perhaps Jon and the team are taking a well-deserved Winter break... or working hard on the next patch?

I do hope that either is the case.

Jon White has been given a 1 year work break to allow him to do a university degree. He still drops in to the forums occasionally, but as a consequence there are far fewer posts at the moment. Perhaps he will drop in again soon and spot this thread.

That's interesting. If he does drop in I'd like to wish him good luck with his course although, to judge from his contributions to Serif and MoviePlus, I doubt he'll need it.

Is anyone 'holding the fort' while Jon's away?

The fort is being held admirably, but there are a number of programmers who frequent the forums more rarely. Sarah and I try to spot what is important and pass the information on, but do not always manage. It is not in our Serif job descriptions to support these user forums, but those employees who do read them often find there are mutual benefits achieved.
