Lightbulb Making pages auto resize to fit viewers display

is it possible in X to set the website properties to automatically resize to whatever the visistor's display resolution and screen size is - I know wp10 couldn't do it but can X2?

If not, could anyone advise on the optimum page size that we should be producing our sites in?

Hope someone can help before I swith from wp10 to x2.

Thanx

Thanks mate - I guess that answers my question - it is however a shame that this feature is not yet available

Cheers

I agree with you that not having this feature is annoying.

I am a new user - started today.
I am trying to migrate a site I did in Front Page which had this feature.

It allowed for a lot of text .

I am spending a lot of time reformatting everything, many times to see what looks best.
My imeadiate conclusion is to make the page landscape, having read this thread.

Hopefully this feature will be added.

Hi

Wouldn't it be easier to adjust the page lengths? Just go to Page Properties and change the height.

Please consider ease of reading when determining the width of text frames, too.

It would, but this is the ONE thing Front Page (in my humble opinion) got right.
You just dont have to think about it.

I agree. I use another very well known web design package and that too has auto length text boxes and page lengths. It does not have 'Liquid Pages (LP). WP has 'Absolute Positioning' and my understanding is this is incompatible LP and would require to total rewrite of what long time users of WP have become accustomed too. I for one would welcome LP depending on what this would do to the program as a whole
