Lightbulb notebook touchpad causes documents to jump around

In using PPX2 on a laptop with a touchpad, the documents will sometimes all of a sudden jump to one side (or up and down) of the workspace when moving the mouse cursor with the touchpad (and I'm not doing any drag & drop, just moving the mouse cursor). I'm using an IBM Thinkpad and its touchpad sensitivity has been adjusted, but to no avail. The little red 'mouse' button in the middle of the keyboard is the alternate method of moving the mouse cursor and there is no problem with that. Anyone have/had this problem and know how to overcome it?

BTW, haven't tried PPX3 this way, but I do have it.

(EDIT) Found solution: disabled touchpad edge scrolling. No visible scrolling edges show on the touchpad and didn't know it had that feature. Found that it did and disabled both. Works fine now.
