Lightbulb I Found SupportSoft Assisted Service...

...listed in the Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs list. ?

After using Windows Search, I found one folder at Crogram FilesCommon Filessupportsoft that contains a folder named bin which contains an exe and 7 dll files.

Is this SupportSoft Assisted Service a part of or used with any Serif program?

I didn't specifically install SupportSoft Assisted Service.

From one of the the company's web sites, it seems to be a paid per-incident remote troubleshooting and computer support service.

Was it pre-loaded by the PC manufacturer?

Nope.

Today was the first time I saw it in the Control Panel > add/remove section. I'm typically into the add/remove section once or twice per month.

I just finished a Windows Search for both the SupportSoft's created date and modified date to see if I had any other programs or files with the same date and simiolar time. Nope, none.

So... I uninstalled SupportSoft Assisted Service.

I wonder what won't work the next time I go to use it?

I have no idea how SupportSoft Assisted Service got installed on my computer but uninstalling it seems to have not damaged anything else.
