Lightbulb Concentric circles

I need to draw scaled concentric circles radiating out from a point on a map. What is the best way to get their centres over the point on the map.

Thanks.

Draw orthogonal guidelines through the point, and snap the cetnre of the biggest circle to the guidelines.

Copy the biggest circle, and paste in place with Control + Alter + V.

Use the transform tab to scale it by 90% or whatever. Paste the original circle in place again, and scale that by 80% etc.

Thank you. I didn't realise you could snap the centre to intersecting guide lines. That's going to make it much easier.

PagePlus is better than DrawPlus here.

I've used PP for this and finished the circles now, thanks. Quite easy once you know how.

The Align Studio tab can also be useful; you can use it to centre the circles after you've created them.

Dave, thanks for an alternative. How would it be done if the circles are not central to the page. Would I use allign to a margin?

'Align' works on selected objects. Select all the circles and use the alignment feature to center the vertically and horizontally. While still selected, you can 'group' them and they will be treated as a single object which you can place where desired.

Cheers, sam.

I'll jot it down.

Paul.
