Lightbulb wishlist

We need animated dvd titles. Instead of having just a picture preview of the chapters it should have an option to play a short preview clip of the chapter.

Also more 3d transitions. I love the new ones but i want more!

You mean like the motion chapter windows that come as standard in Uleads Video Studio 9? You can choose between still or motion.

Give Serif a break!! They have only just started adding features that others have been supplying as standard for at least the last few years.

Lightbulb Pinch & Punch!

Hi Serif

these two effects can add an eliment of amusement when used in certain home movies. I used the Punch effect in a movie I did of one of my grandchildren.
While talking on camera, the punch effect made her head appear to baloon up in size and then magically return to its normal size, much to the amusement of those watching! Any chance of these effects being added at some point to MP5 or maybe MP6?

Lightbulb Audio add inns

The new resource CD is ok but there's no background audio sources, this would be useful for adding to menus/opening/closing credits etc.

Hi Melissa,

The Director's Collection DVD ( http://www.serif.com/movieplus/movie...collection.asp comes with 10 full length royalty free audio tracks and 50 audio clips.

If you have a more serious requirement for royalty free background audio sources and require a high degree of flexibility I would also recommend SmartSound SonicFire Pro ( www.smartsound.com). Version 4 of this software has recently been released and includes a fantastic new feature called Mood Mapping.

Well, dang it all to pieces! I didn't know the "Director's" stuff existed!

Now to impatiently wait for the mysterious Natasha to send an E-mail with an irresistable offer to obtain them.

You can get royalty-free animations/motion backgrounds here. http://www.studio1productions.com/An...animations.htm

You can get royalty-free music here http://www.studio1productions.com/m2h/m2h-1.htm and here. http://www.pbtm.com/

Also, do a web search for "free loops" if you want a music or other sound clip that can be... er... looped. A short loop is good for a web site splash page (did I say splash page??? ) or as a background for a title or credits section.

Sam, you can do this now in v5, by selecting Waveform Audio in the Filetype dropdown list.

I agree with the second suggestion though.

How does that enable export of audio only?
I see wav in the list of file types.
I found that I can copy the audio clip to the clipboard after unlinking it from the video, but I am not able to paste it into Audacity.

Nevermind, I found it. Duh.

I was unable to find this through help search, but see it is in the procedure for movie export.
