Lightbulb Poor playback on TV

I have made a DVD+RW from some clips & the playback on the TV seems to have a kind of zigzag on the edges of my grandchildren while they are moving.
The clips were MOV & I used Rad Tools to convert them to AVIs, I edited them ,saved them & exporeted them as MPEG.
When I burnt them using MYDVD the playback was not very good , is using the MOV from the beggining something to do with the poor quality of the DVD, I hope not because I cannot afford another camera at this time of year.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Mac

Hi Mac,
This sounds like interlacing artefacts.
Which export template did you use? For TV playback you need to use a PAL or NTSC template (as appropriate).

Best wishes,

Hi jon, You have probably spotted that I am not up to much with burning DVDs lark, I have just finished one using the DVD-Video button & it came out perfect. I was using the DVD+VR because my disc DVD+RW, told you I am useless, but I am well pleased with my finished disc.
Thanks Mac
