Lightbulb publishing as PDF - font problem

I use PP8 PDF version and when I export my file as a PDF with the fonts embedded, I get an error message that says Barrett italic and Techno bold can't be found - text will use a default style. The font itself is there, but not as bold or italic like it is in the newsletter. Can you tell me what is going on and how I can correct this?

Thanks for your help...
Jeanne

Jeanne,

1) Don't use faux fonts (fonts that do not have a true bold or italic font).

2) Upgrade to PP9 or PP10.

Are you saying that PP9 allows "faux" fonts when publishing as a PDF file? I really want to keep using the Barrett font but as far as I know, it is not available as italic. If upgrading to PP9 would take care of the problem, it would be well worth it.

Thanks for your advice.

Jeanne,

Yes it does, but "converts them to curves".
