Default Multiple Redirects?

Hello,

I'm curious to know if it's possible to have multiple redirects for a single page?

Just trying to get a temporary workaround for not having a 'responsive' website.I figure if I have multiple redirects based on devices and screen sizes I'll be able to make sure the website fits in most screen sizes.

Cheers,
Max

I'm not sure if you can, but are you going to create a mobile website for each screen width?

Well at the moment I have a single redirect for mobile, and for that I just have a separate mobile site that I put together. But I've now got complaints that the site doesn't fit on some of my friends computer screens, so I was thinking to get a quick workaround I would basically make a clone of the site I have, but make it smaller.

I'm just about to try copy the different redirect codes into the page head. See if it works.

It's w1100 h662. I've heard it's best to have w1000, but it was just that bit too small.

Have a look, www.maxklimmek.com

I think even 1000 is too wide. I use 960 to 985 pix w. I think we've had this discussion before.

Ye we have... It's just so small. I'll try with 960 and see how everything fits again.

Very nice, but it lacks clutter .

I'd end up with a horizontal scrollbar if viewed on the netbook. I now go to 1000 pixels wide which I understand should be suitable for most smartphones, etc.

Perhaps that's not correct, I have a dumbphone.

There's a reason why the big sites (eg BBC, CNN, SKY) use 960-980... it's so your friends won't complain about it being too wide.
