Default Tutorial - Supersized. Full screen background slide show

This fullscreen background slide show is a more versatile script than Bgstretcher.

The downloadable wpp file has all the scripts and files contained in an HTML fragment which you can copy and paste onto your page(s), and then re-establish the file structure. Easily customised. Install instructions are included. File format is X4 but will work with all versions.

Demo and download

EDIT: Using X6 lightboxes with Supersized can cause Supersized to break. As a stopgap until a workround is found, use any of these three lightbox scripts which have been tested in X6 with Supersized.

Is it supposed to resize the background, ala wikipedia, when I change the browser size?

Great find! I'll try the tutorial tonite.

@Bill, I zoomed in and out with my browser, but the background did not resize. Only the html resized.

I'm even more impressed. I was okay with the "Home" button, but hesitant to click the "Install" button. Well after hacking around with the file and dismantling it (and finding some "red squiggles, which when dragged off the page became black text...the directions) I finally went back a click install and "viola"....a nice surprise. I've experiment with fade rather than slide and the timing of each of the 3 slides. Appreciate the comments.

Hi Guys,

The background image will resize based on the size of the browser window (viewport). Using the above demo, which is compiled in X4, if you minimise the window down to 150px x 150px the background image will scale down. The page itself will not, and hence you will see scroll bars.
