Default Insufficient Memory

Hey what's up with insufficient memory? I am running 16gb ram but still can't save at even 150dpi. It is a large banner but still didn't expect that. Any suggestions?

32-bit apps are limited to 2 Gbytes anyway. You really don't need such a high resolution for a banner. IIRC Arun uses 50 dpi or less for his. Just keep reducing the dpi until the error disappears.

How large is large? If it's large enough to give you an "insufficient memory" error at 150dpi, it's probably large enough for viewing at (and intended to be viewed at) quite some distance, in which case it shouldn't be necessary to print it at that resolution.

Perhaps 75 dpi, but certainly less than 100.

Alfred
Believe it or not few days ago I have to print Flex for "Maruti Suzuki" Dealer with 40 ft x 15 ft in size

I send the file to the Flex Printer with just 10 dpi.

I can assure you this automobile dealer will not take delivery if the quality is bad.

P.S. Thanks to folivio (Frank, Ami Graphics) who gave me this idea for flex printing.
