PagePlus X6 Update Announcement (16.0.2)

Dear All,

Serif (Europe) Ltd. is announcing the release of an update for the multi-lingual PagePlus X6 DVD (build number 16.0.2.27).

The main purpose of the build is to resolve issues discovered since the release of PagePlus 16.0.1 for which we apologise. As well as a number of minor fixes, this update addresses the following major issues. Many are phrased in the negative from our database but are nevertheless fixed.

• Fixed problem with PagePlus X6 failing to load images for X5 Template documents.
• Fixed problem rendering fills for unclosed curves in EPS import.
• Fixed problem with vertical ruler guides drawing horizontally in some old documents.
• Fixed possible crash selecting Master Page Objects.
• Fixed Text Styles tab not working when table text selected.
• Fixed inability to select PANTONE colours by typing in number.
• Fixed Filter Effects not being re-applied immediately after drag copy.
• Fixed possible crash copying and pasting resources between documents.
• Fixed image paste from Google Chrome.
• Fixed possible crash when deleting a table.
• Fixed crashes when using Resource Manager to embed a PDF Annotation Poster resource.
• Fixed problem with Raster Effects DPI not being honoured for Screen or Bitmap Export.
• Fixed problem with margins from printer on landscape page.
• Fixed N-up printing range not being honoured.
• Fixed problem rendering some Table / Calendar line styles for print.
• Fixed crash publishing to ePub with missing text styles.
• Fixed problem generating ePub TOC when page break precedes new chapter.
• All issues reported as fixed in the 16.0.1 update announced here

We would recommend that ALL users of PagePlus X6 English UK, English US, German and French download and install this update. Serif recommend that updating should be done within the program, by using the "Check for update from web" option in the Help Menu. This will always get any available update for your version of Serif software (DVD or download) and install it too. The downloads page www.serif.com/downloads.asp has the file also.

To work out if you need this update choose "About PagePlus" in the help menu and if the version number is 16.0.1.25 or less and you are running the English UK, English US, German or French version then you need this update. Helpfully the software checks for updates the first time it runs, so for those yet to install a DVD, the latest update will be found on first use if needed.
