Question X5 imminent?

I see Serif are selling Webplus X4 on a promotion at the moment, also Amazon are knocking it out 60% off in an email I received today. So, does this mean version X5 is about to be launched?

According to about three or four other threads, around May/June.

Rooky - you are allowed to include links to your WP sites in your signature as examples of what the software can do, but the wording you have used makes them rather like advertising links. To stay within the rules of the forum, it might be an idea to edit the word 'free' out of each link.

I may be wrong or ths add may be misleading but according to Amazon the offer of cut price software is only on for 1 week.

Could X5 be sooner than we think?

I'm with you, Tom. I agree that discounts often mean that a new version is in the offing, but the discounts often begin well before a new version release.

Besides, why worry about X5, when apparently X7 is already out there and available.

I'll bet I could find WebPlusX117, if I looked hard enough.

Believe it or not, last week I got an email via the WP how to site below asking for a WP X4 product key so the person could install a torrent download.

Needless to say, I referred them to Serif's customer service and also the free download.

Haven't heard back.

Not quite, I was meant to imply the amazon.co.uk offer over the amazon.com one, for us UK users of serif software.

You won't see it over there, but several prices look "silly" now that VAT (sales tax) on software has increased to 20%.

What I do see is a typographical error in the full retail price
