You do that either by opening the Digikit Creator (via a button on the Context toolbar) and importing files or folders from there, or by dragging items to the contents tabs (Embellishments, Backgrounds, etc) from the DSA page or an Explorer window. When you drag an item to the Letters tab you get a Keyboard dialog so you can associate that item with a letter on the keyboard, and if you drag a non-transparent item to the Frames tab the Frame Editor (just like the Cutout Studio in PP and WP) opens up so you can cut a hole in the frame image. In the Digikit Creator window there are buttons for tagging items and for loading existing kits and saving new or revised kits.
How do you import DSA creations into PP or WP?
You need to export them from DSA. Whole documents can be published as PDF, and you can export all or part of a page in any of the standard image file formats.

La perfection est atteinte non quand il ne reste rien à ajouter, mais quand il ne reste rien à enlever.
(Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.)
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944)
