ALL is perfect in Preview, but when DVD gets burned the end result turns out to be out of sync, and the closer to the end the further out it gets. I am using my miniDV camera to change analog VCR tapes to Digital, and everything works perfectly until the DVD gets produced. MP+5.02 uses the Sonic burn engine, and I have mad many beautiful movies with this combo. What has happened here?
I'm having a similar problem with MP 4.03, editing MPEG-2s, then burning. If you look at the audio and video track durations, I suspect you'll find a difference of a few frames. This seems to be caused by random "problem" frames, which you'll have to look at individual frame level on the time line to find (frame is shown as a "filmstrip" picture). This appears in the preview window as black.
Obviously, it's impossible to edit at this scale, except for extremely short clips, but I'm talking to support staff at the moment. The cleaning process should be, technically, easy, or at least a "find and go to" tool could be produced. I expect such will appear as an update / patch / separate tool if it becomes available.
