72 quid with discount!

Sorry, but the reason I've stuck with WebPlus since V2 is that it's always been affordable. Now I'll begin looking around for an alternative.

I'd love to upgrade but the asking price is twice what I can afford.

The upgrade is only £55 from WPX6, but it would be a bit more from earlier versions.

AND THE FIRST BUG IS............

X7 will not open any file type in database merge except it's own database format! A quick fix is needed here since my entire website is database driven and gets updated daily.

All text bigger than 20 pt is totally screwed by x7 - not enough room in the text boxes via the css i would say

Check the upgrade offer from your e-mail, use the link, there, if you are upgrading from X6 to X7, I can verify that the price is £55.

Why I get another upgrade price directly from the website AFTER logging only Serif knows.

Hi

No doubt you have installed the 64bit version. There is a problem with the use of Database for some users with Pageplus. The best thing to do here is to install the 32bit version of WP. I think it has been documented on the knowledge base.

EDIT here is an article you may want to read

Disappointed the serif store still doesn't support download managers to get the download faster and doesn't have resume support if download gets interrupted. My download started at 18:26 (local time) it's now 20:35 and still got over 3hours to go.

Patrick: Shouldn't the General Forum version of this follow precedent and be a 'Sticky' ?

But, thanks for the announcement, and the new version.....

Yes, it should, otherwise it appears at the bottom of the list, after all the sticky threads.

Steve

68% downloaded and 4 hours and then we get a power cut during a storm.

Starting again!

I'm on X5 at the moment and have been considering upgrading to X6 for a while as X5 has become so damned buggy. There are only so many times I can endure it crashing before I start to consider giving up with Serif all together. Now I see there is an X7.
Question is, which do I go for? I'm sure X7 does lots of clever things that I'll never use or understand. All I want is to keep my site as pretty as possible. If 7 has anything that will help with my SEO that would be a bonus.
What will X7 do for me that 5 or 6 can't achieve? Point to remember I use this purely for one site, this one, www.edwardcrawford.co.uk and my knowledge and skills are basic to say the least. All I want is less buggy software that isn't going to caiuse a nervous breakdown when I try to transfer and as I mentioned before if it can help with SEO that will be a bonus.
Cheers, Ed

Is there an option to install a 32bit version of Webplus? Doesn't seem to be with the upgrade version I purchased?

Downloaded the great offer I got from Serif, installed it on my Acer571 64bit, this new version is really slick, going through the templates and working perfectly so far. I am sure their will be a few bugs to be sorted, as there always is with new versions of software.

Thank you Serif for producing such a pro product.

Must be your pc, I almost never get crashes on my pc V5, V6 and V7. I would seriously check that you have good versions of MS Redistributable s installed.
