yes, it was a fun course, though i think it lacked something being hosted on google+ rather than an actual forum like it was the first time around. mybe i'm a bit set in my ways and think that forums create more of a community atmosphere than these social networks. but i did learn quite a lot from the course and my channel now looks and feels more like a pro channel

Agreed. When it started the "community" seemed too full of spammy posts. Later, things calmed-down.

I like to think I have a fairly unique use for Movieplus. I like to categorize it under the realm of "machinima", which is, typically, using video games to create movies or other videos. I call what I do "sports machinima", in that I use sports video games, record them with a capture card, and edit them with Movieplus to create sports programming.

One of the main things I do is something called HCL, a UFC/MMA parody. Here's the hype video I made for the upcoming show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_buwCcdKkA

Default Dancing Snakes

Surprising number of views, just two hours after uploading it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fggr_aY9EQ

Two snakes with eyes only for each other.

Trimmed & edited in MoviePlus X6 with only small changes of colour and some extra sounds. Exported as PAL 720p MP4 then fixed for "fast-start." "Custom thumbnail," saved from a video frame and tweaked in PhotoPlus X6.

I think that they are "harmless" Rat Snakes. But didn't want to claim that... or rely on that.

Thanks Albert. As usual, my sister shot the video, using one of her basic JVC AVCHD camcorders set to fully automatic.

432 views so far, since yesterday, including a long pause while YouTube did a verification check.

Very smooth movements on your video. What are you using for camera stabilization?

Love the Figaro, btw.

Hi Lon

The Panasonic X920 has the best image stabilisation I have experienced in a Video Camera but the OPTEKA X-GRIP also works well in handling the camera on sweeps and pans etc. Cheap as well.

UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Opteka-Profe...I3GVUPXFHPAD6E

US: http://opteka.com/xgrip.aspx

Also I have several years of practicing with video camera and walking/moving which helps. Just practice really.

Hope this helps, Mark

Here's a link to a page containing a set of videos produced for a customer. They are intended to run on continuous loop at exhibitions etc. The customer liked them so much he wanted them on his website as well! (Which, incidentally, was created in WebPlus X6)

The videos were put together with MPX6, with images adjusted, resized, cropped, etc in PhotoPlus X6 and some graphics created in DrawPlus X6. They were all rendered at full HD as they will be displayed on big screens.

Not perhaps the most exciting of subjects!

Here's my latest from my trip to Valencia. Thanks to AlfredP and Tomh for helping me with the title sequence - slowly getting to grips with using movieplus. Tried putting a couple of timelapses into the video for th first time which worked ok.

Very nicely done - full of interest. Were the light imbalances, (if that's the right word), early on, done for effect, or simply accidental ? Either way, I felt it spoiled the overall effect and slightly disconcerting.
