Exclamation Scrolling quickshape

This is a title sequence for a church service. I am attempting to scroll a quickshape from right to center, and the text from left to center. How do I make these two end up and aligned to one another?

I would place the text and the quickshape, each on its own track. By default they will be centred. Next go to the transform function and place a keyframe at the end of each clip. Now go to the keyframe and the beginning of each clip and drag one to the left and the other to the right, off screen. Alternatively, you can edit the X Positions (one positive and one negative) to achieve the same effect. The actual values needed will depend upon the project properties.

If you start with the example attached to Ian's post here, all you would need to do is place a QuickShape on a separate track and add keyframes as Mike has described. You would, of course, also need to edit the text.
