Default Rendered Video/Audio Synch Problem

I started working with MoviePlus Starter Edition this past week. My first project is a music video. I shot three camera tracks (Guitar and two Vocals) and recorded the audio separately.
By improvising a clapper, I was able to very accurately synchronize the video tracks to the common audio track in the project preview BUT, when I export it, the three video tracks progressively get ahead of the audio. All tracks are well synch'd at the start, but by the 3 minute mark, you can clearly see the mismatch (video close to a second ahead of the audio).

Possibly significant: The red/green Preview progress bar at the top of the timeline never extends the full length of the project. It stops at the end of one of the shorter tracks, even if I set an 'end selection' beyond that point. I have tried rebuilding the project and it always seems to be the same track.

I am using 64 bit Windows 7. The Video 1 and audio track are the same length, the other two finish about 10 seconds earlier (in case that is important). This happens when rendering to both .wmv and mp4, using the default settings (I haven't tried other formats yet, I'm mainly interested in YouTube compatibility).

I'd still be interested in hearing feedback from others, but I think I've found a work-around that may help someone else...
It seems there is an issue with one of my video tracks. Windows and Logitech see it as a 3:01 length video (both in the players and the properties). Movie Plus sees it as 4:01, with the last frame repeating for more than the 60 extra seconds. I trimmed the track at 2:33 (where the repeating starts) and stretched it to 3:01 and as far as previewing it in the project window, that was working well. When rendered, all three video tracks were rushing to the finish.
I thought the problem might have something to do with the 2nd and 3rd tracks ending before the overall out point. So, I spliced extra footage to the end of each and just left them at zero opacity. That did fix tracks 1 and 3 in the exported file, but 2 (the track I had trimmed and stretched) was still accelerating, in the exported file.
So, I ignored that it looked incorrect in the preview and stretched it an extra second, to 3:02. Now, it was a bit slow. So, I brought it in to 3:01/17 and it looks fine both rendered and in the preview (though I can't be certain that they're identical).
I believe that the key here is the (apparently) corrupted file. Somehow, only MoviePlus sees this extra minute. Fortunately, I was able to trim the extra and 'restore' the track, by meticulously finding the perfect length to stretch it to (the playback speed is now 0.799, according to MoviePlus).

Thanks, Gordon!
The breakthrough came after stripping the project down to bare bones and laying in the tracks without any trimming or edits. I sized the three video tracks, so I could watch them at the same time (looking a bit like the opening of the Brady Bunch). That's when I noticed one of them 'froze' for its final 30 seconds. From there, it was a matter of improvising and repeated testing. I'm just glad it wasn't a more complex project.
