DrawPlus X5: Driven mad by saved styles

Hi all,

I am having a terrible time with this. I want to apply all the effects from the right hand button to the left. I can Format Paint it but I ant to save it as a style and then be able to use it all over the place but it just doesn't do it. I tried to upload the exported style here but Serif don't allow Serif styles to be uploaded (!) so it is in Dropbox at https://www.dropbox.com/s/1kiyl9o4sp...ons%202.gstyle
Can anyone see why this wouldn't work?

What isn't working? It worked for me.

I used your thumbnail, then cut out the left "button" image leaving a transparent background in the cut-out studio.

I added your style to the my styles section, and - looks almost exactly likes your target image except for my imperfect cutting.

Ahh, maybe the problem is that my item is a picture cropped to a circle? Do styles not work on cropped items? Seems odd that I could format paint to a cropped item but not add a style? Is this right?

Hi Phil,

Just a note to mention that if the forum will not allow a particular file type, add another . (period) at the end of the filename, and add the extension zip

Just let people in the thread know to remove the .zip at the end of the filename. It saves a bit of hassle uploading to dropbox and linking to it. Works for any file type as long as it still fits in the size limitation for the file type.
