Dear Serif

The date and time function in slider panels is great, but a teensy bit limited. It would be nice to have a setting to roll over on a weekly and monthly basis, so that a weekly/monthly schedule does not have to be updated with new dates every week/month. I am currently putting together a site for a community radio station and the weekly schedule has to show the right day and the "playing now" has to show the day, DJ name and show name. All working nicely, but needs 46 panels given new display dates every week.

Thanks

Dave

Are these some 100 posts read? By the developers?

Hi Folks, I did not - read it all, therefore apologies if I repeat.

Menu bars cannot be clicked on mobile platforms, tested on Android (no function) and iPad (some work).

There is a forum post where a solution is offered by additional code for iPhone. So if this works please developers implement that for all mobile platforms. Thanks a lot.

Which menu bars can't be clicked on Android platforms? Which version of WP are you using?

Hi Ali

Version 14.02.025. Look here: www.ebneter-ag.ch

Black main menu ... and here: http://www.ebneter-ag.ch/subaru%20impreza.html

Grey menu bar below video.

First button there -> "Preisliste", link to PDF at subaru.ch:
Here no function. If I call subaru.ch and click it there it works ???

Thanks in advance and have a nice day
Michael

(I tried with typing the whole path, because button does not show pull down)

That is easy enough to fix. Do not use offsite links in navbars. Make each parent page clickable.

Go back to your other thread for more discussion as this is a Wishlist thread.

This is because the menu bar does not require clicking: what reveals the child menus is a hover action, which mobile touch screen devices can't handle. You need to make the parent page buttons clickable for your navbar to work on mobile devices. This is designer error, I'm afraid.

Thank you for this hint, but how can I make it "clickable"?

Now its a technical question to existing features :-)

Cheers

Instead of using an offsite link, add a real parent page to your site.

Dear Serif,

Is there any possibility that we can have a way of creating a database with a search query function.

Thanks

Yes, yes, yes. I've posted/read so much about this. Please stop it doing this!

I have always been looking for some features be incorporated within the WebPlus. I hope SERIF this time will add these useful features:

1) ability to incorporate any Database files such as merchant product-feeds (not only webplus databases) into the website.
2) ability to flexibly create a ".PHP" page that will open many opportunities for those involved in Online business.
3) flexibility to create parts of a website for integrating with own creation, for example, creating "Website-Menu" with its full CSS files. This is because, there are many SERIF webplus users who only some elements of desing be depended on SERIF, the rest being their other creations.

Therefore, SERIF Webplus as Great tool as it is, needs further aspects to incorporate this time--Webplus X7. I can't wait to see the results!

Would like to be able to alter HTML code and CSS styles by accessing their file document within WebPlus so you don't need to do it in a 3rd party text editor and having to download the changed files from your server back into WebPlus.

Also, being able to open, delete or modify files directly from the Site Files Tree.

Default YouTube Jukebox

I would love to see the YouTube support enhanced. A great feature would be to be able to embed several videos into a player that would allow features like random play and play on mute.

These are all features that YouTube are always being asked for again and again but do not develop.

This would make WebPlus the best web video tool available.

I personally have at least 10 sites that I would use this in already.

Weblus X6 is brilliant. and the only thing i would ask for is a better site search. And with the option to include/exclude pages from the search. That would make life so much easier
