Default Flash not showing . . . but was showing last evening

I am having a problem I can't figure out:

Last evening, I previewed the site at http://www.ahgweb.com/demoqlite and all of my flash items were working. Now, the most important part of my flash items has quit working with my last export of the site.

On the home page, at the upper right under the header, there is a flash item that shows the current dj and some info (timeslot, "on air" graphic). The item does not show when previewed now, and does not show when the site is uploaded to the server.

I uploaded the flash file only at http://www.qliteradio.com/onair_2012.swf. It works properly.

Next question, could it be a problem with pulling the images from the other server? No, I also uploaded the flash file to http://www.ahgweb.com/onair_2012.swf and it works properly there as well.

So, if it isn't included in my webplus page it works.

I must do this in flash as I don't have the patience to learn a lot of javascript when I can use a little actionscript -- which I already know -- and have a working product.

Any ideas as to what's happening?

As far as I can tell, there is something that WPX5 is writing (a script) that only appears when this item is inserted into the page that is causing the problem.

Any ideas?

Safari tells me that a script on the page is causing Flash to run slowly, I suspect that there is something else running on the page that is causing a problem with the SWF file.

Google Chrome froze here for a while too. I ended up closing Chrome via Task Manager. I agree with your opinion that there is something else on the page that is causing the problem.

Same here . . . but if you view the links to the same flash file, you will find there are no problems.

This site was started in X4, and I never had a problem with the file running or a script causing problems.

After converting to X5, and tweaking the flash file (actually REMOVING actionscript) this is what is occurring.

Same file in a "handmade" page - pure html - no errors.

This tells me that the coding from WPX5 is a problem.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a workaround?
