MoviePlus X6: Title text colour - how on earth do I make it what I want?

I've chosen a text style from the gallery. I want it light blue. under Properties/Format/Fill I choose light blue in the box. The text goes green!!! If I choose purple the text is red!!. What am I doing wrong?

It could be that what you're seeing is the result of either the outline colour or applied effects. You might be better off not starting from one of the gallery options.

Thanks Mike. Yes, I'm sure it's something like that. I couldn;t figure out how to alter a gallery text colour so II restarted with standard text and went from there instead.
