Default Issue creating jpeg websafe image

I am trying to prepare a JPEG image so that they can be put on facebook for advertising. They are appearing as gray in color. I want them to be in full color as created. I do not get the websafe option in the pallate when I select export as picture for JPEG instead the program automatically blocks that option out. Need assist to get past this issue. Thank you.

24-bit JPG full colour images are "websafe." You don't need to limit yourself to grey scale 256 colour images.

Thank you for the feedback. I am not intending to limit myself it appears to me the software is causing the limitation. Do you have any thoughts on how to take a document created in PagePlusX5 and make it so that it can be posted in jpeg format to be viewed on Facebook?

Export the selection or entire page as a 24-bit JPG image

Hello, I tried your suggestion. When I go into the program to export as picture the box automatically appears with 8 bits per pixel and the palette showing as None (grey). I changed the bits to 24 bits per pixel and the palette changed from None (grey) to Gray. I do not get the option to select the websafe radio button. Based on your knowledge of PagePlusX5 is this issue something I have caused am I doing something wrong? How do I get past this problem so I can create a JPEG image?

Hi

How about attaching the PagePlus file here and maybe someone can work it out for you.

As I said in my first reply, 24-bit images are already websafe. The websafe and dithering options are greyed out because they have no meaning for 24-bit images.

Here is the jpg, but you need to go back into the file and convert all text to curves to improve it's legibility as an image.

I made no changes to your page nor to any other settings.

For what it's worth, I've never found the JPEG format to work well for images containing text.

Or, what do you suggest?

Yes, PNG would be better, but I see that the OP specifically asked for JPEG.
