Welcome to the Serif forums, Vee.

How large is the image in terms of file size on disk and pixel/inches on the page? Try saving the project, closing and reopening DSA2, placing the picture on the blank page and then going into Cutout Studio. If that works, you should be able to copy the cutout item to your saved project.

Post back, of course, if you're still having problems.

Hi

thanks.

the image is quite large. i think its over 4gb on the disk. in dsa i use 8x11 inches page setup, when i go to properties of that photo in dsa it's around 34mb

I have tryed what you have adviced to me, but that didnt work.
i have made 2 layouts with the same photo size and no problem, but it has asked me afterwards if i want to save it to digikit and i said no, so not sure if that can be that problem.

I'm really lost

I know this is an old thread but just in case anybody else is having this problem it can be fixed within Craftartist 2. Simply select the image, then tools (top left) and from the drop down box select "convert to picture" and things should be ok.
