Default Does anyone use SEO Software?

Basically I was wondering of anyone uses SEO software to cut down the amount of backwards and forwards you do with SEO research and competitor analysis.

I was looking for something to check a sites backlinks (how many and who the sites are) a keyword explorer etc.

There seems to be lots of suspect looking software so wondered if anyone could suggest something?

There is a lot of suspect SEO software as there are suspect SEO firms. However, some here use a program that I cannot remember the name of.

I use a Google Webmaster account.

The name of the software is Link Assist, I can't comment on it, but there are online reviews. If it's kosher, they'd do well to include an address, etc, for contact.

The one that's been discussed quite often before is http://www.link-assistant.com/

A search in this forum and the General forum should turn up some threads.

I use Link Assistant - http://www.link-assistant.com/ .
More specifically - I use the SEO Spyglass which I got the paid version of. The products they offer have free versions which I used first - and still use today. I am in NO way advertising for them - as advertising is not allowed. But to answer your question - I am satisfied with the product and it does save time so you do not go " backwards and forwards". Remember one thing though - just because you can see all the competitors links does not mean you will be able to get backlinks at the same sites. its more of a way to see how much work will be involved to get your site up to par. Hope this helped.
