To round the corners of a picture, place a quickshape rectangle over the top and move the slider to the left of the rectangle down to round its corners. Select both the picture and the rectangle and use 'Format' > 'Drawing' > 'Crop to Shape'.
(I am assuming you want to round the corners of a picture, not to round the corners of a panel)

Thanks for your and Micks (by PM) fast and good help!
The remaining problem on my side was my fault to find the function at the right place.

I looked for "Drawing" in the german "Format"-menu... the first thing I found was "Bild" which means picture and could also stand for "Drawing", but under that "Bild"-point there was no german expression for "crop to shape"...
After a while of searching around I found also in the "Format"-menu the german word "Zeichnung" which means drawing (in a more direct meaning as "Bild") and under this point there was the function "An Form zuschneiden" (crop to shape). Yeah!
Good to see all the helpings if someone has a problem!
Have a nice day!
