Hi

OK, WebPlus X7 was released earlier today - 18 Nov 2013.

Please post a link to your WebPlus X7 site here, if it's fully completed.

Start a new thread if you'd like a site review to help fine tune the site.

Thanks.

Have you chosen a 'web safe' font? If not, you may need to convert the text to a graphic. Just a thought.

Site Review: www.dsromorganizer.com

It seems that with the browser at work, I cannot see the countdown counter on the main page. (IE 8)

Please don't ask for or give help or advice in this showcase thread - start your own thread for these things. Thanks!

Triangle you say? Argh there be no triangles up in them woods

Now rectangles, them be the quickshapes that were published as images and then used as the backgrounds. So you can use them to create your own colours.

Yep those. lol.
ok, learned something... was wondering what they were for.
so you export your site to file, and then use those images for your background under the page properties.

Not the whole site, you can select the quickshape then File>Publish Site>Export as Picture

Here's a WPX7 site made over the last few days. A critical review of the look of the thing would be helpful I either get "it's great" from friends or a long list of other ideas or new pages from acquaintances.
I am particularly concerned about the font. I too have been having problems getting changes to styles to stick - in my case it was the default size of the font on body style. I want 12pt and the system constantly reverts to 10.5pt. I have edited the style by modifying it, selecting all text using it and applying the change, via the text menu styles option and any other way but it still reverts to 10.5pt when I open a new text box?
Any ideas?
BTW do you have a better suggestion for the base font I should use. I have stuck with Arial but it is not the neatest font.
Thanks
John

Paul.

Oh no, I've been rumbled, oddly enough about 2 hours after making the post I questioned which version of WebPlus I had used to create the live demo, but never got round to checking, I could have published it with X7 and it would look exactly the same. But it was made with X7 and the X7 file is included, so all is fair.
