Default "Unable to Contact Unlock Server"

Our users are getting this error when they try and import anything but AVI or export a DVD.

I'm sure it's to do with our web proxy but I can't find a way around it. Is there a port I need to open or a site that I need to white list?

Sorry if this thread has gone up twice my original one seemed to disappear
It's just possible that there's a problem with Serif's "unlock server." If you contact Serif Customer or Tech Support, make it clear that you are asking for help with Codec Unlock: If they see only that you are using MoviePlus X5, they may misunderstand and reply that your version is not supported.

Serif does / did offer a special "unlocked" version for sites with multiple users, such as Schools.

Serif can also supply unlock codes by email.

With a simple desktop PC firewall, I simply set the firewall to display blocked traffic, and then change the rules to suit. The Unlock server will probably be on the serif.com domain.

I will certainly give that a try thank you.

Sadly I think it might be something more as this has being going on a while but I could work around it with other bits until now.
