Default G'MIC filter with PhotoPlus??

This Greyc fellow
http://gmic.sourceforge.net/
has made an excellent plugin for GIMP.
Does anyone know if it can be used with PhotoPlusX5?

My understanding is PhotoPlus can use Photoshop plugins. I thought I remembered seeing a G'MIC plugin for Photoshop... But now I can't find it.

Are there any other awesome creative plugins that folks can recommend? Thanks.

I think you mean PhPX5 (PhotoPlus X5). PP5 is PagePlus 5, which is very old now (not to be confused with PPX5, which immediately preceded the current version, PPX6). I don't think there was ever a PhP5, although there was a PhP5.5 (a cut-down version of PhP6).

I don't think there is anyway to respond to your question since there is no documentation that I could find on plugin API.

Serif claims that[1] "Any [such] industry-standard filters will work." What that means is anybody's guess.

Sorry 4 using wrong acronym Alfred - yes, I meant PhotoPlus X5 - I just assumed that since this is a Serif forum, and not an Adobe forum, ppl would know what I was talking about

What it actually says on that page is "PhotoPlus supports non-automated Adobe Photoshop-compatible plug-in filters. Any such [i.e. non-automated] industry-standard filters located in your PhotoPlus Plugins folder will appear on the Effects menu." Please note that it only says they will appear on the menu. It doesn't say they will work!
