WebPlus X6: Lightbox Slideshows Play Button

I've created a number of lightbox slideshows which work perfectly.
Rather than click on a thumbnail image to start the slideshow and then click on the play button, does anyone know if it is possible to create a graphic button which when clicked would play the show, i.e. the slides change automatically at the chosen interval?

Just for clarification, are you opening a page that contains a photo gallery in a lightbox?

Yes, that is correct. Clicking on a thumbnail image opens the lightbox.
