In summary I think your product is excellent so if you want a reference from me/my company I have no problem with that. There are some things i'd like to change but that is the same in any software. Overall the Webplus X5 is outstanding value for money and i'm not massively technical but it is pretty easy after only a few weeks of working with it.

I bought Serif Webplus X5 from iPlus360.com whom I am sure you know. I did this after downloading and testing quite a few packages, also evaluating whether a web company with CMS might be an option.

To cut a long story short am very impressed and just wanted to say a big thank you!

Yes, I have a success story.

There used to be a time in the distant past when you could open a package and successfully receive the full order you'd placed. Unhappily, that's a rare thing these days but I have had success when ordering software from Serif and actually got what I ordered so I guess you could say; that's a success story. (in the past maybe?)

I've been in the IT field now for just under 50 years, having started in 1963 in the US Navy as a programmer/technician. Having said that, I am a complete newby in the art of building web sites. I've tried perhaps 10 different designer programs (some payware even) and haven't found a single one that can measure up to WebPlus. As soon as my next SS check comes in, I'm going to upgrade to the paid version of this wonderful software.

In around two hours, I designed a (crude but effective) web site just to see if I could do it. No problem at all. Now, I just have to get proficient.

I have been using Serif Software since a very young age, during my school days I would sit at home on an early edition of PagePlus and design logos and graphics etc...

I then discovered you could build websites using PagePlus, and after becoming familiar with the software I decided to purchase WebPlus, where I began developing websites and became an active member of the Serif community. From which I have met life long friends who have supported and helped me on endless occasions.

Today my knowledge of Serif software allowed me to develop a portfolio that got me into university studying Architecture, even though the course was already full and I didn't have the required grades.
My skills learned from Serif gained me an unconditional placement.

Now studying architecture, I am in the process of designing websites as a profitable hobby to help fund my years through university.

Actually it is not a success story. It is just something which happens in my life. In January 2009 I was first introduce to Serif. At that time I just start my own DTP shop with one computer in a small shop. At that time I just worked with some small DTP jobs like creating visiting card, books, letter head etc. Oneday I got a call from a Ayurvedic company (they got the phone no from our glow-sign) for some Advertisement Layout for their product. They also informed us if they did not select any of them then they will not pay anything. As at that time I had no laptop & went to their office with some colour print of that project which I create with PP9. Fortunately they select 4 out of 6 and after that there was no looking back. I still works for them for their many printing works like Glow-Sign, Leaflet, Multilingual Brochure, Visiting Cards, Letter head, Print Media Advertisement etc. After that I got some more client like CAR Dealer (Maruti's biggest Dealer in India), Commercial Vehicle Dealer (Biggest Commercial Vehicle Dealer of TATA Motors) and some others.

Now I shift from that shop to a better shop (Still tiny and very small) and I believe I can't achieve this without Serif Software specially PagePlus and Drawplus.

So thank you Serif and the People behind that Excellent Product and Customer Support.

My success story is simply one of an excellent and continuing relationship with Serif.

I've been a customer since before 2000 and I've enthusiastically championed Pageplus since then.

Movieplus has also been heartily recommended on a frequent basis.

Although relatively new to Webplus, I strongly suspect that it will join the Serif programs that I regularly use and recommend to others via the workplace, friends, family, and more recently through the various forums I engage with.

I've spent a lot with Serif over the years ... and that's not just due to an effective and pleasant sales team. Great products and excellent value for money keep me as a customer.

Serif consistently provides products that I regularly use for work and at home.

I would just like to point out that I clicked on your link and my anti-virus software said that a Trojan Horse was detected and my browser said Malware was found on the site. Do you know if you have an add-on or anything that could have caused this?
