Default restore

Help, Can anyone tell me how to restore my photos to a different disk they were originally on C: when I backed up and have now implemented major updates i.e. an SSD drive.
I cannot use C: to restore to as it is a small SSD disk and I keep that for Windows and FSX. Therefore I want to restore my photos to my E: large disk and X5 automatically restores to the C: drive. I have tried to move the photos over from the C: drive to the E: drive using cut and paste but I cannot get my original folders when using INCLUDE FOLDER in Organiser.
Picasa makes a good job of it very easy why not X5.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
Many thanks

Why bother trying to move files with PhP - why not use windows own "drag and drop" or "copy and paste", then delete the originals when you are sure you have what you want where you want them - DJS

Thanks for reply. Yes have tried that as well but when I see the folders in the left hand side of Organiser the folders are showing empty when they are not. On properties on any folder it is showing pointing to correct disk. It does say in the Include folder icon that the original file will stay in its original location and I can if I got to that location see the photo. Think I will just use X5 as my editing software and keep Picasa as my organiser. The modern world at its best.
Thanks TMF.
