Default Read the forums, still cant get twitter to workon X5

I cant get my twitter widget to work, I have tried publishing, I have tried previewing, I have tried putting it on the web..Nothing..

I go to insert HTML, I paste the code from the twitter widget into the HTML body and it just shows as if there is nothing there (you can look the website Nicktalks.com) there is a space right above comics worked with that I cant get to work,

Here is the code..any thoughts? I have WebPlusX5..

<script charset="utf-8" src="http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js"></script>
<script>
new TWTR.Widget({
version: 2,
type: 'profile',
rpp: 5,
interval: 30000,
width: 'auto',
height: 300,
theme: {
shell: {
background: '#333333',
color: '#ffffff'
},
tweets: {
background: '#000000',
color: '#ffffff',
links: '#4aed05'
}
},
features: {
scrollbar: false,
loop: false,
live: true,
behavior: 'all'
}
}).render().setUser('NickAlexander46').start();
</script>

Yep,

Just trying to get that widget to show up.

I pasted what you said in the header and the other in the body,

But still when I upload its as blank as it can be. I guess I could do a RSS feed, so that is working, but I cant get it to use HTML, This is a dumb question,

I am just inserting a HTML box and pasteing like you stated, do I have to "turn it on" or anything like this.

when I look at the "webpage" I am building in X5 before I preview, i see the box, and its right in the middle, but when I preview or publish or push to the web, its likes it not even there.

I guess I can just go with a RSS feed, Thx for the help.

Welcome to the forums.

Simply upload to see it working . Twitter has adjusted the code.

Here is your feed - http://itineris.webplus.net/na-tw/

BTW: It looks like MJH has repeated part of the code to both HEAD and BODY on that page. I'm fairly sure you do not need both, just paste all to BODY.

Ooops, you are right TomR.

I've edited the published page to delete the Head script from the Body section.

The mechanics:

Copy the Head code to the clipboard and then:

Insert > WebObject > HTML > click Paste to HEAD.

Copy the Body code to the clipboard and then:

Insert WebObject > HTML > click Paste to BODY > position the grey square on the page.

To see the Twitter feed:

File > Publish Site > Publish to Web > upload into a /test subfolder
