Default WP forms + HTML5 features + Cross Browser

Convert your WP form to use HTML5 form features to provide:

1. In-field labels using "placeholder" tag.
2. Client side validation using "required", "pattern" and "title" tags.

Uses a small (20kb) file for cross browser capability of form features, and does not require a DOCTYPE change. I use it with Forms to Go and it transmits as it should do.

Tested in IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari and works fine.

See two DEMO files here. Hovering over edit boxes will provide additional info from the title tags.

Basic installation notes are included in the attached file.

Thanks for the demo.

I created a WebPlus standard Comments 1 form in order to try emailing the form contents using SWR. It worked successfully in all the browsers you used plus Chrome.

The only minor problem was that it only previewed successfully from Chrome and Safari because of the Javascript. Once published, the problem was resolved.
