upgraded DSA won't open now

I loaded the upgrade on to my computer yesterday and used it with no problems. Today, I made my own digi kit by importing elements from elsewhere on my comp, using the digikit creator. That process seemed to work fine, but after closing DSA down, I have since been unable to open it again. When I double click from the desktop, the front page (where you choose to start from a blank page appears. It allows you to click on one of the choices, but then that page disappears, with the DSA tab appearing down on the bottom bar where open programs reduce down to, but it won't open from there.

I've never done this before and don't know what it is supposed to do, but I've tried double clicking on the desktop icon whilst holding down control and nothing s happened. I've restarted my comp, and deleted the digipacks from the pack folder too, but it still isn't launching. (not at all, when pressing CTRL, and as before when not pressing CTRL, ie, just the opening screen menu, which then vanishes)

You need to hold Ctrl, open the program from any shortcut and keep holding Ctrl until you see a prompt asking if you want to reset your user settings. Now you can let go of Ctrl, then press Yes on the prompt.

Thanks...that's worked.Phew! I've closed it down and reopened it normally again and it seems to be fine. I'm too scared to try making my own digikits again though.

Has anyone else reported problems with this feature?

I haven't heard any other reports of this problem and it seems unlikely to be related to making your own digikits. Just go ahead and make one, then see if the problem happens again. If it doesn't happen, all is well. If it does happen, you know how to fix it and you can report back here so we can look into it further.

I am new to this program....Where do I find the Digikit Creator. I watched a tutorial that showed it, but
I do not have that tab on my program. HELP!

I don't know which version I have...I just purchased the software. Should be a updated version, huh?

Go to HELP > About and that will tell you the version number, if the version is 1.0, then you need to download and install v 1.5 and you will have the DigiKit Creator.

Need batteries, Pete?

As you (sort of!) said, it's currently only available via the Free Stuff page on DaisyTrail, and you need to be logged in to get it, but DaisyTrail membership is free.

indeed, new old set fitted now, that last set was brand new cheapo batteries and lasted litterally 15 minutes

I downloaded the upgrade and Bam.....there it is!!
I had emailed Serif about it and they said they didn't know anything about a tab like that!!
HA! Isn't that funny.....They need to join this forum!!'
